For a delicious result, you need to start from the right point: the pure ingredients from a place blessed by nature. That is why “Vlaha” searches for the best first material of Greek land & livestock. Wheat & semolina, sour milk & butter, eggs… carefully selected with strict controls from small Greek producers. That is how the “Vlaha” products always have the known rich nutritional value that every table deserves.
In our beloved Mediterranean trahanoto, the semolina is traditionally kneaded with sour milk & milk butter, while the P.D.O. feta is added too in cubes. Once the dough is formed, the sundried tomatoes, onions & herbs are added. Subsequently, the dough is carefully grated into its characteristic shape & is spread by hand to dry before it is ready to be packed. Tradition & quality are combined with innovation & modern food trends to give birth to “Trahanoto Mesogeiako”!
