“ROOTS Rakomelo” is a centuries-old recipe of a soothing “raki” or “tsipouro” (grape pomace distillate) brew with mountain honey & spices. The roots of “rakomelo” are traced on the Aegean Islands & the island of Crete, where locals throughout the centuries used to warm up raki & add honey, as a warming treat to share among friends. “ROOTS Rakomelo” is strong & flamboyant with a fruity & slightly nutty smell & a noticeable spirity entourage.
