“Lefko Petimezi” is made from the late-harvested white raisin grapes & grapes of the aromatic variety Muscat, which grow on the sunny mountain slopes of Crete. After picking, the grapes are left out in the sun for a few days before pressing. The must is then simmered gently to create this natural syrup that is rich in nutrients with a lively & fresh sweetness, a distinctive & velvety texture but also full of flavour & aromas. It sweetens & flavours cookies, cakes & pastries. It is also ideal for tea, drinks, fruit salads, yoghurt, cocktails & red sauces.
