“Cretan Nectar” has managed to stand out & differentiate itself as the only company in the field of production of balsamic vinegar, glazes & dressings with the use of 100% natural pure raw materials & free from literally everything (ie. additives, preservatives, sulfites, artificial colours & sweeteners). All-natural grape vinegar, traditional grape molasses (petimezi), natural thyme honey & pure extra virgin olive oil are the main ingredients of “Cretan Nectar” products, while Cretan herbs & quality fruits give a special character, giving “Cretan Nectar” products rich aromas, special flavours & valuable nutrients!

“Lefko Petimezi” is made from the late-harvested white raisin grapes & grapes of the aromatic variety Muscat, which grow on the sunny mountain slopes of Crete. After picking, the grapes are left out in the sun for a few days before pressing. The must is then simmered gently to create this natural syrup that is rich in nutrients with a lively & fresh sweetness, a distinctive & velvety texture but also full of flavour & aromas. It sweetens & flavours cookies, cakes & pastries. It is also ideal for tea, drinks, fruit salads, yoghurt, cocktails & red sauces.
