“Kolios” produces a wide variety of traditional Greek cheeses & yoghurts of a constantly high-quality, unsurpassed flavour & excellent taste since 1948. The ultra-modern factory of the company (52.000m²) processes fresh sheep’s, goat’s & cow’s milk in an idyllic farming area in the heart of Northern Greek region of Macedonia. The milk is collected daily from selected & controlled farms of Greece by the company’s fleet of fully-automated & isolated tank-trucks. The excellent raw material, the fully-automated state-of-the-art production lines, the well-trained & specialized personnel & the thorough quality controls applied at every production stage, ensure the excellent quality of “Kolios’ products”. “Kefalograviera Amfilochias” is a traditional Greek yellow cheese with a “Protected Designation of Origin” (P.D.O.) sign. It is made from pasteurised fresh sheep’s & goat’s milk. It is a very aromatic cheese, with a spicy & slightly salty taste which accompanies perfectly fresh tomatoes, olives & a glass of wine.
